VACE Professional Development

Throughout the year, VACE offers its members opportunities for professional development through activities such as Employer Drive-In Visits, Workshops, Webinars, and Conference Scholarships. The interaction among college and employer members allows for self-improvement and learning.

Employer Drive-In Visits - VACE coordinates several Drive-Ins, or employer site visits, each summer to various employers across the state for its members.  Hosting employers have provided an information session about what they do, the typical entry-level and internship roles, and overall recruitment strategy.  Some have hosted employee and/or intern panel discussions and/or a facilitated a site tour.
